Are you curious about Astrology and how it impacts our lives on a day-to-day basis? Do you want to gain an understanding of the here-and-now, and decode the astrological weather of our current climate?
Our monthly Astro Club with SLC resident astrologer Amanda Simon is an opportunity to check-in your like-minded astro-curious community and explore astrology in action, making it relevant to current affairs, personal affairs and social consciousness.
"Gemini season takes us out of spring and into summer - like all mutable signs Gemini moves the season along . Mutable signs are transitional, they are unafraid and relish in-between states preferring to be in flow, on the move, in the breeze. The twins, Castor and Pollux - one mortal one divine, are two of the mythic characters within the Gemini archetype, who help us to get inside, alongside the Gemini spirit. Forever connected yet never together, Castor and Pollux’s eternal dynamic. Exploring this mythic realm brings dimension to the Gemini spirit, which is very often misunderstood and dismissed.
What of air - elementally Gemini is maximum air, and there is a similarity between Pisces and Gemini in their fluid, mutable, double bodied being - it is very helpful to get to know Gemini by bringing Pisces alongside and this we will do in Gemini Astro club. As with every Astro club we will come into a deeper, felt relationship with Gemini through exploring twinning and the longing that lives within the Gemini spirit as well as give some time to what is brewing within this month, the transits that are building momentum, reaching their climatic meeting in Taurus season. I very much look forward to deepening and journeying with you."

It’s a space to learn, laugh, connect and explore and is open to anyone and everyone who is interested in learning more about astrology!

Your Host
Amanda is an Astrologer, Artist, Acutonics practitioner, writer and educator who skillfully weaves together her various practices and perspectives, past and present. She advocates, with all her heart, amplifying the complexity and multiplicity of life. Through her works, she care-fully co-creates the capacity for a plugged-in participation with all that life brings and holds. Much of her training has been in the US, where she has found an Astrological sensibility that weaves together Hellenistic, Sumerian and Psychological Astrology. These strands have been crafted into her own mythopoetic reading practice. Additionally she works with planetary frequencies and is trained in Psychotherapeutic modalities.
